Sunday Morning: Classes are available from 10:40-11:30 for children who are 3 years old thru 4th grade.
Nursery: The nursery is staffed with paid workers and volunteers. Our nursery is equipped with age-level appropriate furnishings. Nursery care is provided from 9:00 am - noon. Special Church events during Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter will also have nursery care available. Debbie Gurtner, Susan Taylor or Rebecca Miller, Nursery Coordinators, will answer any questions you might have.
Worship: Throughout the year, children are encouraged to become involved in the Worship Services as acolytes (lighting the candles), scripture readers, and ushers. They are also encouraged to share talents such as playing the piano. In the fall, all children help prepare, and participate in leading, a worship service.
Kids' Club: This is our Sunday evening children's fellowship for Kindergarten thru 5th grade. God's Word is shared through skits, crafts, stories, videos and games. In December our kids share in ministry to members of our church community by going Christmas caroling. They also present a Christmas program. Throughout the year, a special ministry is chosen, which the kids support by bringing in an offering. Kids' Club meets Sept. thru April from 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Our Preschool (For 3 and 4 yr. olds) This is an extension of the church's ministry during the week to young children and their families. Our program teaches each child social adjustment, and self-confidence, and offers educational guidance in a Christian setting. Classes for 4 yr. olds are held on Mon., Tues. and Wed. Classes for 3 yr. olds meet only two days per week. School begins the Monday after Labor Day and ends in May. There are three teachers and four teacher's aides currently on staff. Vacation Bible School: VBS isn't just for kids anymore! This week provides lots of fellowship in a cheerful and friendly atmosphere where God's Word is taught through stories, skits, games, crafts, music and snacks that all revolve around a central theme. The adult volunteers who join our staff for the weeklong activities have a great opportunity to get better acquainted with other adults. Ask kids and adults alike if they have fun at VBS and the answer is "YES"! VBS takes place in July.
Youth Fellowship: Jr. High, 6th-8th grade, and Sr.High, 9th-12th grade each have their own groups which meet from 5:30-7:00 pm Sunday evenings.
Camps: Sports,
water activities, pioneer/wilderness, elementary - Sr. High, Father/child,
and many more camps take place during the summer through our church conference.
Our church helps pay part of the registration fee for persons who are
active in our church congregation.
